Gymnastics Posts Strong Score in Season Opener at UNH
The Purple Knights’ team total (192.80) is the highest in a season-opening meet since 2016.
DURHAM, N.H. – In the first meet of the 2024 season, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team posted a score of 192.800 in a tri-meet against the University of New Hampshire and Long Island University on Sunday. The Purple Knights' team total is the highest in a season-opening meet since 2016.

Individual Highlights
The floor exercise offered the top scores for Bridgeport on Sunday. Sophomore Lola Sepulveda led the way with a mark of 9.825 to finish in third.
Classmate Abigail Kenney followed with a fifth-place score of 9.775 while senior Kieran Ross and freshman Nova Staruk each recorded marks of 9.625 to place 12th.
Staruk was also impressive on vault as she registered a third-place score of 9.800. Sepulveda finished sixth in the same event with a mark of 9.775.
The bars also provided great results with Kenney placing sixth (9.7500) and Olivia Imbarlina and Catherine Aucoin each tallying scores of 9.725 to finish in eighth.
After all scores were posted, Kenney finished third in the all-around with a total score of 39.00 while Sepulveda placed fourth with a mark of 38.90.
