Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's basketball team was limited to only 23 second half points on Saturday afternoon, as the Purple Knights fell in a non-conference game to the visiting Pace University Setters, 74-51. UB is now 2-7 on the season, and Pace ups its season mark to 8-1.
Freshman Gracen Kerr (Ansonia, Conn.) led Bridgeport in scoring with nine points and also dished off a game-high seven assists.
Senior Kyle Felton (Lithonia, Ga.) and junior Alyzae Davis (Bronx. N.Y.) led the Purple Knights with five rebounds apiece.
Lauren Schetter of Pace led all scorers in the game with 24 points, and teammate Jackie DelliSanti finished with a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Up next, the UB women's basketball team will open East Coast Conference at home on Wednesday evening when the Purple Knights host the University of the District of Columbia. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m.
