Bio

Shalise Tolentino enters her second year as an assistant softball coach for the Purple Knights.

A 2005 graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland where was a starter as a third baseman and team captain her senior year. Shalise earned several hitting accolades as a Mountaineer. She is the current single-season record holder for triples, is second in career triples, and is the current freshman class record holder in triples and 8th in doubles. Upon graduating from the Mount with a BS in Psychology Shalise played for the Puerto Rican National Softball Team before moving to Connecticut to attend graduate school at Southern Conn. State where she studied Sports Psychology.

Her coaching experience include a 3 year stint at Green Farms Academy in Westport, Conn. where she helped lead the Dragons to their first 1st place finish and runner up in the league tournament (2006) in 10 years. She currently coaches travel ball for the Watertown Rapids.
