Four from Men's Basketball Named to CACC's All-Academic Team

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – In honor of superb careers in the classroom, four members of the University of Bridgeport's men's basketball team have been named Academic All-Conference by the CACC for the 2023-24 school year.

Denzel Luna, Lambert Shell, Bobby Sullivan, and Ceezar Samson were all recognized for their sensational efforts in the classroom. UB's four honorees are the most of any school in the CACC.

To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must have: a) Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term (may include summer for fall sport participants); b) a Minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution; c) must be second year student-athlete at member institution.
