Dave Boykin Earns 2011 Daktronics Men’s Basketball All-East Region Second Team Honors
Two-Time First Team All-ECC Selection Finished The Season Averaging 13.3 Points Per Game
Albany, N.Y.-University of Bridgeport guard Dave Boykin (Grad., White Plains, NY) has been selected to the 2011 Daktronics Men's Basketball All-East Region Second Team.
Boykin saw action in 21 games for the Purple Knights this season, and he finished tied for the team lead in scoring averaging 13.3 points per game. He also dished out 63 assists with only 28 turnovers, and he was credited with 24 steals on the year. Dave was named to the All-East Coast Conference First Team for the second straight year this season. During the year, Boykin became the 28th player in University of Men's Basketball history to reach the 1,000 career point plateau.
