Rob Gallucci joined the University of Bridgeport's Athletic Department as the Coordinator for Athletic Social Media, Digital Media and Content Creation in December 2022.

Gallucci comes to UB after serving as the Director of Marketing and Digital Content at Firecracker Sports for nearly two years. Firecracker; a baseball and softball event company based out of RI and hosting events across the east coast, where he oversaw all marketing, social media and content creation strategies and production.

Prior to Firecracker, Rob served as the Assistant Sports Information Coordinator at the Community College of Rhode Island for almost three years. At CCRI, Gallucci assisted with the department’s public relations, marketing, promotions and community outreach as well as revamping the digital content production offerings.

As a student, Gallucci attended and was a member of the men’s soccer team at both the Community College of Rhode Island (Warwick, RI) and Southern Connecticut State University (New Haven, Conn), graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from SCSU. While at Southern, he also served as marketing and promotions intern within the athletic department.

He is a native of Coventry, RI and now resides in Meriden, Conn.
