Bridgeport's Amanda Hennemann Named ECC's Elite 19 Winner For Women's Volleyball
Team Leader In Kills Also Shines In The Classroom

Rockville Centre, N.Y.-Prior to Friday's East Coast Conference semifinal contests, Amanda Hennemann (Nova Petropolis, Brazil) of the University of Bridgeport was named the winner of the East Coast Conference Elite 19 Award winner for the sport of women's volleyball. The ECC Elite 19 honor is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the ECC's 19 championships.
Hennemann, a senior Biology major has an impressive 3.97 GPA. A First Team All-ECC performer, Amanda leads the Purple Knights in kills with 317 (3.11 kills/set) and is also averaging 2.44 digs per set.
