Flushing, N.Y.-A goal by junior Rebekka Skaasheim (Balestrand, Norway) with just 6:32 to play in regulation, her first goal of 2019, off an assist from Maegen Doyle (Sr., Harwich, England) lifted the University of Bridgeport women's soccer team to a 1-0 East Coast Conference road victory over the host Queen (N.Y.) College Knights on Saturday afternoon in New York City. With the win, the Purple Knights remain unbeaten in conference play at 5-0-0 and raise their overall record to 7-5-1. QC is now 1-4-0 in the ECC and an even 7-7-0 overall.
UB freshman goalkeeper Helena Dahlstrom (Stockholm, Sweden) made six saves on the day to earn her third clean sheet of the season.
