UB Men's Basketball Jumps To Number 17 In The Nation
Purple Knights Move Up Seven Spots In This Week's NABC Poll
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport men's basketball team, under the direction of head coach Mike Ruane, has moved up to number 17 in this week's National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) National NCAA Division II Top-25 after being ranked number 24 last week.
The 14-2 Purple Knights, who are winners of 10 games in row, made their first appearance in the 2019-20 NABC Top-25 last week.
Bridgeport also moved into the D2SIDA National Poll for the first time this year the week at number 25.
This week, the UB men will be on the road for a Top-25 showdown for the top spot in the East Coast Conference at number 10 St. Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday night, and the Purple Knights travel to Mercy College on Saturday afternoon.
