UB Baseball Falls Twice On Saturday At Molloy

Uniondale, N.Y.-The University of Bridgeport baseball team saw its record fall 9-8 both overall and in the East Coast Conference on Saturday afternoon, as the Purple Knights fell in both ends of doubleheader at Molloy College, losing game one, 17-4, and dropping the nightcap, 5-0.  With the two wins, Molloy is now 16-7 overall and 12-2 in the ECC.

In game two, junior Ryan Donnelly (Fairfield, Conn.) had two hits, as Bridgeport was limited to only a total of five in the contest.  Donnelly finished with four total hits on the afternoon.

Up next, the Purple Knights will look to salvage the final game of the three-game conference series when they host Molloy on Sunday afternoon in Seaside Park.  First pitch is set for 12 noon.
