Melbourne, Fla.-The University of Bridgeport baseball team continued to struggle in the early going of the 2019 season falling to 0-7, as the Purple Knights were defeat on Saturday by Florida Tech, 15-1.
UB freshman Ryan Donnelly (Fairfield, Conn.) had two hits and the teams lone run batted on Saturday, and junior Alex Rauso (Trumbull, Conn.) also had two hits for the Purple Knights.
Bridgeport will look to pick up its first win of the season on Sunday in Tampa, Florida, when UB faces Bentley University at 1:00 p.m. at the University of Tampa.
