Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport baseball team finally got to play a game in the Park City on Friday afternoon at the Ballpark at Harbor yard, but things did not do well for the Purple Knights as they were blanked by the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartans, 16-0. UB is now 4-16 overall and 1-8 in East Coast Conference play. STAC ups is overall record to 11-8, and they are 8-1 in conference play.
Freshman Logan Allen (Magnolia, Texas) had two of Bridgeport's five hits, and graduate student Tom Rinaldi (Waterbury, Conn.) added a double.
The same two teams will continue their four-game weekend series tomorrow morning with a 10:00 a.m. doubleheader hosted by the Spartans
