Pleasantville, N.Y.-The University of Bridgeport baseball team was limited to only five hits on the day, as the Purple Knights were defeated on Thursday afternoon at pace University in non-conference play, 7-0. UB is now 17-15-1, and Pace ups its season mark to 22-15.
Up next, the Purple Knights will look to snap a four-game losing streak on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Concordia (N.Y.) College for a single game that will begin at 12 noon.
