BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – After recording a terrific collegiate debut last weekend, freshman Julianna Frankenfield of University of Bridgeport's women's cross country team was named the CACC's Rookie of the Week on Tuesday.

Frankenfield led the Purple Knights at Vassar's Ron Stonitsch Invitational last Saturday. The Albany, N.Y. native posted a 5K time of 22:58.1 to finish in 53rd place.

Frankenfield and the rest of UB's cross country squads will return to action this weekend at the Codfish Bowl in Boston, Mass.
