Purple Knights Cross Country Teams Take Part In Mt. St. Mary (N.Y.) College Invitational
Andrea Terranova Top UB Female Finisher And Bretton Marks First Bridgeport Male Across The Finish Line
Milton, N.Y.-The University of Bridgeport men's and women's cross country teams competed for the third time in 2018 on Saturday at the Mt. St. Mary (N.Y.) College Invitational, and both teams finished in 25th place on the day in the large race.
For the UB women, junior Andrea Terranova (Haverhill, Mass.) was the first UB runner across the finish line on Saturday in a time of 32.74 over the 8K course which put her in 94th scoring place. Terranova has been her team's top finisher in each race so far in 2018.
On the men's side, sophomore Bretton Marks (Higganum, Conn.) was the Purple Knights' top finisher covering the 8K course in a time of 36.52 putting him in 114th scoring position.
Up next, the Bridgeport cross country teams will compete in next Saturday's NJIT's Highlander Invitational.
