Volleyball Swept In Non-Conference Match At American International
13-Match Winning Streak Comes To A Close

Springfield, Mass.-The University of Bridgeport volleyball team saw its 13-match winning streak come to a halt on Friday night as the Purple Knights were swept in three close sets in a non-conference match by the host American International College Yellow Jackets, 22-25, 24-26, 23-25. Bridgeport is now 16-2 overall on the season. AIC has now won seven matches in a row, and the Yellow Jackets up their overall record to 15-8.
Senior Terry Masava (Nairobi, Kenya) led the Purple Knights with 15 kills and 12 digs on the night.
Bridgeport is back in action at home on Tuesday night when they return to East Coast Conference play against Queens (N.Y.) College. Action gets underway in Hubbell Gym at 7:00 p.m.
