Bio

Stephen Daniels joins the Purple Knights with a wealth of experience both on and off then soccer field. Born in South Africa, he grew up in England and went on to study at Loughborough University, obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Sports Technology. Post graduation he began his coaching education, and secured his UEFA B Licence. For a number of years Stephen then gained coaching experience with both West Bromwich Albion FC and Northampton Town FC Academy's. 

Since moving to the US 5 years ago, he has been an Assistant Regional Manager with UK Elite as well as Director of Coaching at Scarsdale Youth Soccer Club. He’s currently actively working with NYSC, A US Soccer Development Academy member.

Daniels main responsibility with the UB Women’s Soccer program will be Performance Analysis. Stephen currently works with NYSC in providing an educational and developmental platform for players to review and analyze their own and team performances. His role with UBWS will be to provide key detail and information based on increasing performance. This data will come via fitness testing, game footage and review of both ourselves and the opposition, as well as game/season statistical data analysis.

Stephen will also be providing the team with assistance on the field coaching, combined with the overall operations of the program.
