Bridgeport, Conn.-Thirteen different players recorded points on Saturday afternoon, as the University of Bridgeport women's soccer team cruised to a 15-0 Homecoming Day, East Coast Conference win over the visiting Lincoln (Pa.) University Lions on Saturday. UB is now 3-4-0 overall and 2-0-0 in conference action. The Lions remain winless on the year at 0-5-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the ECC.
Saturday's 15 goals are also a single-match team record for the Purple Knights surpassing the 12 goals the scored against Concordia (N.Y.) College in 2005.
Senior Maegen Doyle (Harwich, England) had a nine-point day on Saturday with four goals, to give her a team-high 11 in 2019, and one assist.
Sophomore Lara Heather (Surry, England) netted a hat trick for the Purple Knights against the Lions, and sophomore Mikayla Duhaime (Milford, Conn.) and freshman Rylee Traicoff (Whitby, Ontario, Canada), each had two goals on the day.
Graduate student Marieke Kramer (Megchelen, Netherlands) had a four-point day with one goal and two assists, and junior Andrea Basilicato (Guilford, Conn.) added three assists for UB.
Freshman goalkeeper Helena Dahlstrom (Stockholm, Sweden) made one save to earn her first collegiate win and clean sheet on Saturday.
