Bridgeport, Conn.-After assisting on the first goal of the contest by senior Nicole Greenwald (Levittown, N.Y.) just 1:50 into play, University of Bridgeport sophomore Maegen Doyle (Harwich, England) exploded for four straight markers of her own to give her a team-leading 10 goals and 23 points so far in 2017, and helped the host UB women's soccer team to a key 5-2 East Coast Conference victory over the visiting NYIT Bears on Wednesday evening at Knights Field. With the win, the Purple Knights are now 7-6-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the ECC. The Bears are now 8-5-0 overall and 3-2-0 in conference action.
