Amherst, N.Y.-The visiting University of Bridgeport women's soccer team outshot shot the host Daemen College Wildcats, 21-13, on the day and took nine corners to the hosts three, but UB could not find the back of the net, as Daemen scored a pair of second half goals to post a 2-0 East Coast Conference victory on Saturday in Western New York. With the loss, the Purple Knights are now 6-6-2 overall and 2-2-1 in the ECC. The Wildcats are now 7-5-1 overall and 3-3-0 in conference action.
UB junior goalkeeper Jennifer Wendelius (Lidingo, Sweden) made four saves on the day, and DC keeper Katelin White had nine stops to record the shutout.
