Women's Gymnastics Wraps Up 2018 Season With USAG Individual Event Finals
Maya Reimers, Kelli Tereshko And Kesley Campbell Earn All-American Honors
Denton, Texas-The University of Bridgeport women's gymnastics team closed out its 2018 season by competing in the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championship Individual Event Finals on Sunday afternoon at Texas Women's University.
Sophomore Maya Reimers (New York, N.Y.) took part in three events, and she finished tied for first in the floor exercise with a score of 9.900, tied for sixth on the vault (9.7875) and tied for seventh on the balance beam at 9.7250.
Senior Kelli Tereshko (Madison, Indiana) tied for fourth on the bars with a score of 9.800.
Reimers earned First Team USAG All-America honors in the floor exercise, the vault and on the beam, and Terseshko received First Team USAG All-America accolades on the bars.
UB senior Kelsey Campbell (Las Vegas, Nev.) received First Team USAG All-America honors in the All-Around, and she also earned Second Team All-America recognition on the vault and bars for 2018.
