UB Gymnastics Trio Performs Well At NCAA Regional In West Virginia
Team Set To Head USAG Championship Next Weekend In Seattle
Morgantown, West Virginia-The three members of the University of Bridgeport women's gymnastics team that took part in the Morgantown Regional hosted by West Virginia University, on Saturday each turned in fine performances.
Senior Briana Comport (Gilbertsville, Pa.), competing on the balance beam and in the floor exercise at the NCAA's for the second straight year, posted a 9.825 in the floor exercise and a 9.175 on the balance beam.
Freshman Maya Reimers (New York, N.Y.) had a 9,725 in the floor exercise, and senior Kimberly Stewart (Eastham, Mass.) rounded out the trio of Purple Knights at the NCAA's with a 9.700 on the vault.
The University of Bridgeport women's gymnastics team will close out its 2017 season next weekend at this season's USAG National Championship Meet hosted by Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, Washington.
