Purple Knights Return To The Court On Saturday, December 30 Versus Undefeated Bentley
Bridgeport. Conn.-Graduate student Priscilla Dodoo (Worcester, Mass.) and senior Tanisha Carter (E. Hartford, Conn.) each scored 14 points, but it was enough for the University of Bridgeport women's basketball team on Wednesday night, as the Purple Knights dropped a 71-62 home, non-conference decision to Yellow Jackets of American International College. UB is now 6-3 overall, and AIC ups its overall mark to 6-4.
Dodoo, who also grabbed nine rebounds and had seven assists for UB, and Carter were joined in double figures by junior Aziza Patterson (Teaneck, N.J.) who scored 12 points.

American International dominated inside on Wednesday outrebounding the Purple Knights, 54-31, and scoring 34 points as team in the paint. The Jackets also went 15 of 18 from the foul line; while Bridgeport was 7 of 13 from the charity stripe.
The UB women's basketball team is back in action on Sunday, December 30 when the Purple Knights host undefeated and number two ranked in the nation, Bentley University at 2:00 p.m. in Hubbell Gym.
