Clermont, Fla.-The University of Bridgeport softball team lost a pair of games on Friday in Florida to even its record at 2-2 falling to Stonehill in eight innings, 5-4, and losing to Northwood of Michigan, 8-2.
In game one, the Purple Knights got home runs from junior Meghan O'Leary (Lafayette, N.J), senior Brittney Maio (Guilford, Conn.) plus junior Tara Faford (Grafton. Mass.).
Against Northwood, senior Kaila Crandall (Little Rock, Calif.) hit a home run.
On Saturday, the UB softball team will take one Philadelphia University and West Liberty.
