Tough Thursday For Softball In Florida As Purple Knights Lose Twice

Clermont, Fla.-It was a tough Thursday afternoon in the Sunshine for the University of Bridgeport softball team, as the Purple Knights lost two games, falling to Bentley, 8-0, in five innings and losing 2-1 versus Urbana University, as the Blue Knights pushed across a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to grab the win.  With the two losses, the Purple Knights are now 4-8 on the season.

Bridgeport will close out its opening week of action in Florida on Friday when UB will face Assumption College in a doubleheader.  Action is slated to get underway at 1:00 p.m.
