Softball Swept At C.W. Post

Brookville, N.Y.-The UB softball team dropped both ends of a road East Coast Conference doubleheader at C.W. Post on Saturday afternoon by identical score of 8-0.  Both games were shortened to five innings.  With the two losses, the Purple Knights are now 5-19 overall and 0-10 in ECC action.  C.W. Post ups its overall record 20-8, and the Pioneers are now 8-4 in conference play.

In game one, Bridgeport had three hits, and in the nightcap, the Purple Knights could muster only one hit.

The Purple Knights are back in action to close out a busy weekend of softball at Dowling College in Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m.
