UB Now 2-2 With Six More Games To Play In The Sunshine State
Clermont, Fla.-It was an early start to day two of action for the University of Bridgeport softball team in Florida as UB played a pair of morning games. For the second consecutive day, the team split the two contests opening play with a 10-2 win over St. Michael's (Vt.) College in a battle of Purple Knights and closing the day out with a back-and-forth 6-5 loss versus Bentley University.
The Bridgeport bats were smoking against St. Michael's as the team banged out a total of 13 hits. Freshman Katie Caudullo (Scranton, Pa.) helped lead the UB hit parade, as she went 3-for-4 with three runs batted in. Caudullo also scored one run and had a double against St. Michael's.
