East Stroudsburg, Pa.-The visiting University of Bridgeport men's soccer team scored the first goal of the match when freshman Jovante Etienne (Ajax, Ontario, Canada) found the back of the net with his team-leading fifth goal of the season 30:21 into play on Tuesday afternoon, but the host East Stroudsburg University Warriors would score the next two goals of the contest to notch a 2-1 non-conference win in overtime.
Eddy Enowbi tallied both markers for ESU tying the contest in the 51st minute and scoring the game-winner 3:15 into the first overtime.
UB is now 2-8-1 overall on the season, and the Warriors up their 2017 mark to 7-3-1.
On the afternoon, ESU outshot UB, 18-7, and had an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Bridgeport junior goalkeeper Daniel Coviella (Ribadesella, Spain) made three saves on the day for the Purple Knights.
