Bio

Will Logan enters his seventh year at University of Bridgeport in 2018-19. During Logan’s stint at Bridgeport, the Purple Knights have won three East Coast Conference Tournament Championship (2013,2014,2015) advancing to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament 2012-13.  In 2012-13, Bridgeport men’s basketball experienced great successes where they tied the school record for longest winning streak in Bridgeport history at 12 wins and advanced the furthest the Knights have been in the last 21 years. This past season (2017-18), the team reached a 25-6 record and record setting 16 straight wins. The purple knights also won the regular season championship, a top 20 national ranking and one of the best defensive teams in country leading the nation in forced turnovers while finishing in the top 20 in multiple other defensive categories.

Logan is the team’s recruiting coordinator and also handles scouting opponents, video coordinator, strength and conditioning, and player development along with multiple administrationduties.  Prior to Bridgeport Logan had three-year stint with Missouri Baptist University, an NAIA D1 institution in Saint Louis, Missouri, where he worked and was mentored under head coach Raymond Farrell. Logan joined Missouri Baptist men's basketball program as the Graduate Assistant Coach in the summer of 2009 then promoted to head assistant the following year. Some of Logan’s duties included: scouting opponents, video coordinator, recruiting, practice preparation, player development, and monitoring the academic progress of their student-athletes. In his three years at Missouri Baptist, he helped transform a 9-22 team to a 19-11 in his final year. Logan directly coached the defense in his final year and in the process helped Missouri Baptist finish top 20 in the nation in five defensive categories. As the recruiting and player development coordinator, he recruited and developed two NAIA All American guards, four first team all-conference players, numerous Academic All-conference players, and two Academic All-Americans.

Coach Logan is a Philadelphia native played college basketball at Lock Haven University before becoming a Student Assistant Coach under Head Coach John Wilson, Jr. Logan also coached AAU basketball in the Philadelphia-area while in college for Positive Image, where he assisted in directing basketball leagues, tournament events, and basketball camps. Logan has worked some of the top camps in country including Hoop group elite, Adidas All-American, Scout focus and Villanova Basketball camp.

Logan graduated from Lock Haven University in 2009 and obtained his Master in Sport Administration from Missouri Baptist University in 2011.
